    Best wishes!

  2. Awesome! I’ve been doing research on affordable modern architecture possibilities when I’m ready to buy. I’ve seen incredible things done with shipping containers and some prefab companies like FlatPak. I kept thinking it had to be possible to construct a home in that style for a much more reasonable price. My main concern was a neighborhood that I could afford that would welcome and receive it. I’m glad I stumbled upon your website. Now I know it’s possible!

    • Thanks for the comments! I am going to do a post in the next day or two which will include some information on the wall system we are using. While it is not completely prefab, we are using SIPs…so some aspect of prefab as part of the design. It’s true that modern home designs often seen are unaffordable, but it is definitely possible to do it in an affordable fashion.

    • Stuart, thanks for sharing. It is definitely great to see your work on tight lots. It looks like you are doing some really great work. Keep it up! Look for some updates as I get things started.
