Dig It

A few weeks ago some exploratory excavation was done on the site after soil tests indicated a small amount of petroleum was found present.  The site exploration revealed a few other things…without revealing the source of the petroleum.  It was ruled that the source of the petroleum was no longer on site.

Found some interesting items in what appeared to previously be a basement.  These included:  brick foundation from a prior building, 3  steel pipes (1 1/2″), copper pipes (1/2″ and 3/4″), 1 rubber hose (1 1/2″), lumber, charred wood, and construction debris.  It’s kind of amazing to think what was on this site previously.  I would love to know more about this and see what sort of building sat here.
